Carlos the Caterpillar and friends Children’s Book Series
Following a career specialising in teaching children to read using phonetics, Fiona Murray was keen to continue her work through story-telling. She commissioned me to illustrate this series of five books.
The books featured the stories of five lively garden friends, whose adventures were told simply through text aimed at exciting and engaging new readers.
These illustrations were created with a mix of pencil and digital techniques.
