‘The Cat with the coloured tail’ children’s book
The Cat with the Coloured Tail is a middle grade picture book, written by Gillian Mears, and published in Australia by Walker Books (2015), and in China by Daylight Publishing House (2016).
I did about 30 illustrations for the book, mostly black and white pencil illustrations on paper with spots of colour here and there.
It was shortlisted for the 2016 Australian Book Industry Awards, the 2016 Readings Children’s Book Prize and longlisted for the 2016 Indie Book Awards. I was also nominated for the 2016 Crichton Award for New Illustrators.
